About the Performer

After her family was evacuated from Iran to the United States following the Iranian Revolution, Sue grew up in South Florida (Hollywood) and moved to Gainesville, FL, to attend the University of Florida (Go Gators!!). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, then moved to Pensacola, FL, to continue her education. Sue earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of West Florida (Go Argos!!) 💙💚

In graduate school, Sue met the love of her life, Kit 🥰 Following graduation, the two got married, were both offered jobs in the area, and officially made Pensacola their home. They fell in love with the deeply rooted sense of community within the small town and have made lasting friendships 🤗

Sue’s work experience is vast: including counseling children, adolescents, and adults in a psychiatric hospital; counseling children in a school setting; teaching parenting classes; and teaching online courses.
