Mel is the Cat Country 98.7 voice that graces our ears, awakening and invigorating us bright and early during the weekdays! 
Mel has been in country radio for almost a decade. She is a half to make whole the Cat Pak Morning Show with Brent Lane. Both Mel & Brent were recently recognized for their excellence by being named and awarded CMA Broadcast Personality of the Year! 
A native Texas girl, Mel brings a lots of sass and spunk that keeps both Brent & Pensacola on her toes! In her spare time, she can be found on the sugary white sands and crystal blue waters of our beautiful Pensacola Beach
Mel enjoys cooking and baking, always trying out new recipes—especially if it involves noodles! Holding a huge soft spot for animals, Mel says she will most definitely have a “funny” farm one day 
If you see Mel venturing around Pensacola, Remmi, her 13-year-old shihtzu, will be somewhere close by!
Mel is currently in the Greater Pensacola Chamber Leadership Pensacola Class of 2023 “The MOST”, engaged and eager to continue serving our beautiful community!
