Sara is a wife, mom, and an advocate. She serves as the Manager of Community Benefit and Government Affairs for Baptist Health Care.
Sara has over ten years of experience in politics and campaigns with a formal educational background in criminal justice. She has been active in the Pensacola community since 2010 when she moved here from Ohio. Passionate about advocacy since a young age, she advocates daily for women and children as the President/CEO of NISSI, a non-profit, anti-trafficking organization leading in short-term, immediate care.
Sara’s advocacy efforts are driven by her faith and her personal mission “to break barriers and build people”.
When Sara is not advocating for health care or trafficking victims, you can find her at home snuggled up with her 5 year old son, outdoors, traveling, or sipping on coffee with a good book or good friend.
Sara believes strongly “if you want to change the world, go home and love your family.” WHAT A MOTTO!!!

Sara’s other dance half is that of Hal George! 
Hal currently serves as Senior Legislative Aide to Florida Senator Doug Broxson. Prior to his current position, Hal spent 21 years as an Area Manager for Walmart Stores Inc. 25 years were spent as the owner and manager of several athletic stores, Athletic Attic and Gulf Surf n Sport stores located in Malls on the Gulf Coast. Those years and that hard work all add up to lots of community love!
Hal is very active in our beautiful city. He is currently serving the Pensacola Little Theatre and AMR affordable housing as a board member, Pensacola State College as a member of the Board of Governors and President of the Pirate Booster Club, Gulf Breeze Rotary Club and numerous other organizations.
Hal resides in Gulf Breeze with his dear wife Bonnie. They have 5 incredible children and 12 loving grandchildren. He is a Graduate of the University of Florida and is an avid Gator Fan. “I say it’s GREAT to be a FLORIDA GATOR!” {Go Gators
